What is GVRHA buyers power Co-op?
GVRHA is the most progresive and inovative club in the country, and once again we are setting the standard by starting a buying group.
GVRHA Buyers power co-op is a forum for members to list items they intend on purchasing, and communicating with other members who are also intending to purchase like items. It gives multiple buyers the ability to approach suppliers and use the benefit of our clubs membership to get better buying power, and also request that the supplier sponsor the club in order to seal the deal.
For example, all members wanting to buy horse rugs for the season, list what they would like to buy, we collate the orders and approach a rug supplier, and get a price on purchasing say 30 rugs, and to seal the deal we ask for a sponsorship for the club.
Or,...... say all members wishing to buy new cars list on the forum and we approach a motor dealer to get a discount on multiple car sales, and in return ask for sponsorship for the club.
It is a system where everyone wins, you as the members get to buy your products cheaper, the club gets a sponsorship, and the supplier gets an instant return for their sponsorship dollar.! IT REALY IS WIN, WIN, WIN.
We can list any products at all, from say Drench, to Sheds, Horse floats, Goosenecks, Trucks, Horse Rugs, even non horse related products, lawn mowers, the list is endless!!!!!.
Before purchasing list the item on the forum, and if other people want to buy the same item, get together and approach a supplier, get a multiple product discount, and in order to win the sale request the supplier sponsor the club. The supplier gets an instant sale for their sponsorship, and also becomes a preferred supplier for all club members, they also get 12 months advertising!.
The value of the sponsorship can be reflected in the size of the deal.
Members could also use the system to get a sponsor for the club when asking for quotes from their suppliers thru their work.
Ie You are responsible for sourcing materials or subcontractors for a big job, you ask suppliers for quotes, and approach the successful supplier suggesting that in order to seal the deal they provide a sponsorship to the club.
The key to the success of the system is communication, you as the members need to communicate with other members and GVRHA has provided the medium for that communication via a forum.
